SOKY Reads! is a community reading program that spotlights one book and one author each year. As part of the program, the Book Fest partners distribute up to 500 copies of the selected book in the area, and it offers each reader the chance to join a community-wide conversation about that book. The author of the selected book visits Bowling Green and does a writing workshop, a presentation, and has lunch with a local book club. The author may visit local area schools to discuss their book as well. This year, we will be focusing on Jacinda Townsend’s novel, Saint Monkey.

Be sure to join us on October 22, at the Bob Kirby Branch of the Warren County Public Library at 6pm, for a presentation and reading from Jacinda Townsend. This event is free and open to the public.
