Kyla Jenee Lacey is an accomplished bio writer, spoken word artist, blogger, cat lady, performer, and author. She has been a finalist in the largest regional poetry slam in the country 4 times, has written for the Huffington Post and the Root, and her spoken word has been featured by George Takei, Occupy Democrats, Write About Now, All Def Poetry, and Afropunk.
