Culinary dietitian, cookbook author, and cookbook coach Maggie Green owns The Green Apron Company which specializes in food and nutrition writing and recipe and cookbook development. Green is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky and Culinary Arts Management from Sullivan University. Green is a former editor for the Joy of Cooking Trust and a member of Les Dames Escoffier International’s Kentucky Chapter. Green is the author of four cookbooks: Kentucky Fresh Cookbook (2011 UKPress), Tasting Kentucky (2016 Farcountry Press), Essential Pantry (2018 Red Lightning Press), Essential Plant-Based Pantry (2018 Red Lightning Press).
